Native to the moist grounds in parts of Australia, this plant is an excellent choice for the north Florida Landscape. Weeping Bottlebrush is an excellent specimen tree for color in the landscape. Also a great accent tree for pond areas as a replacement for Bald cypress or weeping willows that loose their leaves in the winter time, the bottlebrush will keep its leaves over winter and bloom in the spring and summer months. All species of Bottlebrush are slightly salt tolerant, have no natural disease or pest problems and are both hummingbird and butterfly attracting.
